A big, clubby, and internationally known Japanese import from London, Zuma, is the brainchild of award winning, Rainer Becker. He brings his internationally acclaimed style of contemporary Japanese cuisine to Midtown, New York. Zuma is a mega restaurant that spans almost half a NY City block ... but do not let it's size overwhelm you. The space offers a cozy, lounge-vibe in it's event space and bar area located on the 2nd Floor.

As you enter Zuma New York, you'll be greeted with a hostess stand, and have a view of magnificent giant stones that are stacked along one wall of the sprawling two-story space, and huge steel and wooden beams are punctuated by inserts of glass brick, leather, concrete and metal filigree. There are booths, tables, a lively robata grill and bar and a sushi bar; upstairs are a bar and lounge, where the event takes place.

Zuma New York’s guests have access to the second level bar and lounge areas, a luxurious hideaway tucked at the top of a suspended steel staircase. The focal point of the room is an illuminated resin island bar flanked by leather banquettes against an accent wall of stacked wine bottles. The lounge provides a dramatic view overlooking the main dining room and is furnished with luxurious burgundy and cherry-colored leather and suede armchairs and sofas, and glass and monkeypod wood tables. Near the bar, a slatted wood corridor accented with sculptural rice paper lamps leads to Zuma’s private dining rooms where diners can experience Zuma in a more intimate setting. Adjoining the Zuma Lounge is the Event Space that opens to beautiful wood floors, and presents an open space to mingle, dance, and party.

For larger groups, we are offering the Balcony VIP Experience, with a secluded private table, for up to 12, overlooking the main level restaurant and access to the main party, but off to the side where you can have your private New Years Experience with friends.
